The diagrams show the process by
which coal was formed over a period of millions of years. First of
all, large plants 1 had lived in enormous swamps a long time
ago. These 2
died and dropped to the bottom of the water. Over the years, the
dead plants formed a layer, which became deeper and deeper. More and more
earth and dirt 3 was built up on top
of this layer. Subsequently, this layer 4 was covered by rocks and dirt, and so the energy of the
dead plants 5
was trapped
underneath. As the pressure and the heat grew over time, the layer
of dead plants 6 turned into coal. Seams of coal were formed, and coal 7 is being now mined.

Text 7
The diagram above shows the process by which advertisements
are produced. Following the diagram are a series of statements describing each
stage of the process in jumbled order. Match the statements with corresponding
stages in the process. One has been done for you.
10 The diagram shows the process which
advertising agencies follow in order to produce advertisements.
9 First, a strategic advertising plan is
written which contains the objectives of the advertising campaign and the
message which the company wants to send to the customer through the
advertisements.
11 Following this, the client looks at the best
ideas and chooses the one which he or she considers most suitable.
12 In the next stage, the plan is passed to the
advertising agency creative team. These people then work together to produce a
number of possible ideas for the client to choose from.
13 The client and the agency then review, or
look at the advertisement again and more adjustments or changes are made.
8 After that, it is put into production and
when the definitive version of the advertisement has been produced it is
finally published.
